Our SanITy agent is installed on each of your servers that needs to be protected. Beyond backing up standard data files such as documents and spreadsheets, SanITy contains advanced plugins for Microsoft Exchange and SQL servers. SanITy also has very powerful revision and retention options that allow you to keep older copies of data for as long as you need. Storing multiple revisions allows you to go back in time and retrieve a file that might have been corrupted, deleted or accidentally overwritten. SanITy’s powerful revision rule wizard allows you to manage how long revisions of each file are retained. You can set the number of revisions for individual files, folders, programs or wildcards independently of one another. There are additional options for controlling revisions by size and age.  SanITy is the only online backup service that allows you to create “tape rotation like” retention settings. For example, keep daily copies of all files for each of the last 5 days, keep weekly copies for each of the last 4 weeks, keep monthly copies for each of the last 12 months, or create any combination of custom retention settings that suit your business and compliance archiving requirements. In addition to the offsite backup, you can also choose to keep a local copy for fast restores.  Our software will create an exact copy of the backup set on any accessible storage device attached to your network.  SanITy’s advanced logging and reporting tools can assist you with meeting HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Graham-Leach-Bliley and other compliance requirements.  Download the datasheet for specs.
